Debra Raicek Mayers
Debra is the founder of Collegiate Consulting. Since 2013, she has advised high school and CEGEP students and their parents on the highly competitive and often idiosyncratic college admissions process in the United States.
Prior to founding Collegiate, Debra was director of alumni admissions in Quebec and Eastern Canada for a prestigious New England liberal arts college, and has more than 20 years of experience interviewing and evaluating college applicants. She is keenly familiar with the process of American college admissions, and the reasons why some international applicants fall short while others succeed.
Debra holds a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and Bachelors of both Civil and Common Law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. She is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
